Lebanon Relief Response 2026

Supporting the Lebanese church
as they serve displaced families.

Riverstone is partnering with the Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon (FEAL) to provide urgent humanitarian aid to 250 displaced families affected by the escalating war in Lebanon. Through FEAL’s network of local churches, families will receive monthly food packages, blankets, and emergency medical assistance, all delivered with intentional, gospel-centered care. With more than one million people displaced and widespread loss of life, many families are now without shelter, income, or stability. We invite you to pray and give as we support FEAL in meeting these needs and sharing the hope of Christ in the midst of crisis.

Partnership

Riverstone is partnering with the Free Evangelical Association of Lebanon (FEAL)—a deeply trusted, gospel-centered ministry we’ve walked alongside for more than a decade. FEAL is based in Beirut and is committed to church planting, sending national workers throughout the MENA region, and serving families with both practical care and intentional gospel presence. Because of our long-standing relationship, we can confidently join them in this relief effort as they provide food packages, blankets, and emergency medical aid to 250 displaced families through their local church network—meeting urgent needs while building relationships that point people to the hope of Christ.

Impact of the War

Lebanon is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, with over one million people displaced as fighting intensifies across the country. Families have fled their homes with almost nothing, many now living in crowded rooms without stable work, schooling, or access to basic needs. The loss of life, trauma, and instability is widespread—yet even in this darkness, God continues to open doors for ministry and hope.

Relief Efforts

FEAL has mobilized its five local Free Evangelical churches to serve the most vulnerable. Over the next three months, they will provide:

  • Monthly food packages for 250 families
  • 250 blankets for warmth and protection
  • Emergency medical assistance for urgent needs

This response totals $26,100 and is carried out with accountability, follow-up, and a relational, gospel-centered approach.

A Glimpse Into the Need

Many families have fled their homes overnight with nothing, facing deep uncertainty and overwhelming hardship. One Syrian refugee family shared that they escaped Baalbek after warnings of imminent bombardment, walking long distances to reach safety. They now live in Beirut—nine people in one small room with almost no income, no schooling for their children, and no ability to return home. Their story reflects the vulnerability so many displaced families are experiencing.

Yet even in the midst of suffering, God is opening doors for hope. During a recent visit, a young girl named Julia, from a Shiite background, joyfully sang a worship song for her family and the FEAL team. As a volunteer shared the Gospel, her parents listened with open hearts. When Julia received an illustrated children’s Bible, her face lit up!

Our Response | PRAY
