Day 3 Prayer Week - Put On the New Self

“Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:12-14

As we strive to fix our minds heavenward and turn from our old ways, let us resolve to walk in the light of the gospel, putting on our new selves in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, please pray for Humility, Honesty and Honor to abound in our church family:

to “walk in a manner worthy of our calling with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” Eph 4:1-2.
to be clothed in humility, seeking to meet the needs and interests of others over our own [Phil 2:3; 1 Peter 5:5].
that we would be honest and sincere with one another, walking in the light as Christ Jesus is in the light [Gal 6:1; 1 John 1:7].
that we would make every effort to honor one another and demonstrate genuine love toward each other as Christ has loved us [John 13:34].
