Small Groups commit to get together regularly to speak truth, show love, and grow together in Christ. We have men's, women's, support and mixed groups that meet as both ongoing communities and short-term Bible studies.

Welcome to JOY (Just Older Youth 55+)! We meet every month for fellowship, encouragement and ministry. We hold a bi-monthly potluck luncheon on Sundays, and varied scheduled events throughout the year through June.

Study of the Word
We are about 6 or 7 chapters into our study of Parables of Jesus, a book by James Montgomery Boice, most men in group have a paperback copy of their own to follow along.
Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month between 7–9 p.m. in the Conference Room. Starting to meet in October.

W.O.T.- Women of Thunder Monday Night study.
This is a group of women who are “fervent yet tempered by love” working their way diligently through books of the Bible, focusing on observation, meaning, and application. All are welcome. Currently studying the book of Mark and working from chapter 11. Starting up again September 11.
Resources: A Bible and notebook.
Homework: Yes, varies according to the amount of time you wish to spend in study.

Our group started a new study from Chip Ingram “True Spirituality: Becoming a Romans 12 Christian” at the end of March.
A bit more about the study:
Christians today live in a world that is activity heavy and relationship light. The result is spiritual emptiness. We struggle to know what God wants from us and for us . . . and we’re unsure what a real relationship with God really looks like. But that was never God’s idea. HIS idea of faith is not about rules or religion— it’s about relationship. That’s where God tells us to start. In Romans 12, God gives us a clear picture of what Christians should look like at the root level. If you’re ready to move from “in” to “all in,” then you’re ready to become a Romans 12 Christian.
