Youth Paid Workers (14-17 years old)
procedures:
- Complete the KidsSafe Application online.
- Read the KidsSafe Handbook.
- Attend a KidsSafe Training held monthly at Riverstone Church. (Visit our events page for dates.)
- "Submit a New Record Check" at the PA Access to Criminal History (PATCH) website. Fees apply.
- Complete a Child Abuse History Clearance online at the PA Department of Human Services website. (New applicants must first create an individual account on the Child Welfare Portal. Past applicants must log into the Child Welfare Portal.) Answers to FAQ about using the portal can be found here. Fees apply.
- Print, review, and sign the two statements: 1) Statement of Paid Individual 14-17 years of age and 2) Parent of Paid Individual 14-17 years of age. Return them to the church office.
- Submit all reports and/or certificates to the church office at KidsSafe@riverstone.church or in person. It is suggested that you make a copy for yourself to keep in your files.
