ChoiceOne Pregnancy and Sexual Health Center

Unplanned pregnancy is a widespread phenomenon that has resulted in the termination of far too many unborn lives. Riverstone Church supports ChoiceOne, serving as a beacon of hope for redemption and restoration in the areas of sexuality, family unity and development, pregnancy assistance and various levels of counseling. If you are interested in learning more or discovering how you can support this ministry, please contact Alice Yen.

The Food Center at Morrisville Presbyterian Church provides supplemental food assistance to food-insecure families in Lower Bucks County, PA and the greater Trenton, NJ area. Any individual or family, residing in this service area, may visit the Food Center for assistance. It is entirely volunteer operated, and dependent on donations of food and money from the community. A volunteer sign-up can be found on their website. If you are interested in learning more or discovering how you can support this ministry, please contact Frank Rhoades. Riverstone Church collects shelf-stable food donations year-round for the Food Center. We invite you to bring in food donations and place them in the cart located at the rear of the auditorium.

Salaam Center Thrift Store

The Salaam Center Thrift Store located in Brooklyn, NYC, is focused on being a healthy community platform among unreached people that will lead to relational connections and gospel ministry through service and meeting their tangible needs. Riverstone Church is collaborating with Grace Point and Church of Living Hope to sort the clothing at a warehouse in Langhorne in order to support the vision and work of the Center in NYC. If you are interested in learning more or discovering how you can support this ministry, please contact Nicole Harrington.

Productive Lives

Productive Lives is a training organization that motivates people to improve their lives and the lives of others through servant living and leadership. They believe in experiential learning, that is, learning by doing, which is accomplished through a variety of service projects. Focused in Philadelphia, PA there are opportunities for rehabbing homes, food distribution to those in need, and outreaches to the neighborhood. Their hope is to bring teams and individuals in that would like to serve people in need and themselves grow in passion for service and outreach. If you are interested in learning more or discovering how you can support this ministry, please contact Tom Hurst.

GROW Conversation Cafés

English is an essential tool to build relationships and earn an income here in America. GROW provides ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for immigrants in Philadelphia. These English classes help adult immigrants develop more than just the practical skill of English, they cultivate friendships and connections, supporting immigrant families to succeed in their communities. Once a month these adult English Language Learners (ELL) practice their English in the Conversation Cafés. These are held in Northeast Philadelphia one morning and one evening a month. Volunteers are paired with a small group of ELL students and given suggested topics to discuss. If you have any questions or are interested in using your skill of English to gain cross cultural experience and develop relationships with our immigrant neighbors, please contact Gwen Rapp. Gwen.Rapp@worldteam.org
