ALARM (African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries)
ALARM stands for African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries and is a Christian organization focusing their kingdom work in central east African countries. Their mission is to equip and multiply Christ-like leaders in churches and communities for the advancement of the gospel and promote healthy human flourishment. ALARM also works hard to foster reconciliation through the power of the gospel to tribes with deep rooted animosity and division. Additionally, they are committed to advocacy and empowerment for women, as well as ministry for widows, orphans and refugees.
Riverstone Church supports ALARM through a variety of projects. Our café sponsors the Cymbili Coffee Plantation in Cymbili, Rwanda. We support the building of water tanks in the villages throughout the North Kivu province of the DR Congo, which provide ongoing water supply and promote healthy communal life. We also support the work of law enforcement training, women’s empowerment and microenterprise training.
